Software that
leaves things better

We're a software company, not a charity. But the work we do. And how we do it, it has a real impact on people, communities, and the environment. Here's how we think about that.

We've built healthcare systems for underserved populations, helped NGOs scale their operations, and partnered with regulated industries where software failures have real human consequences. Responsible delivery isn't a side project for us. It's embedded in how we work. This page is an honest account of what we do and where we're still improving.

01
Social impact
Software that serves people, not just businesses
Where we've had direct impact

Not every project is a commercial engagement. Some of the work we're most proud of is the kind that widens access: to healthcare, to financial services, to government systems that actually function.

Ghana National Health Insurance Authority: In 2016 we won a World Bank-funded tender to build an e-claims platform for the NHIA. The system processes healthcare claims for millions of Ghanaians. Reliable public-sector infrastructure in a market that needed it.
NGO sector: We work with organisations like World Vision, building the digital infrastructure that lets them run programmes in multiple countries without a large technical team of their own.
Healthcare & insurance: Systems that handle claims, patient data, and policy processing affect real people's lives. We treat that seriously: proper testing, security audits, and compliance built in, not bolted on.
Our commitment
We will continue to accept and prioritise projects with a meaningful social purpose, from public-sector healthcare to NGO infrastructure, alongside commercial work.

Responsible AI
AI with accountability built in
How we use AI ethically

We're AI-native, which means AI is central to everything we deliver. That comes with responsibility. We're deliberate about how our AI systems are built, supervised, and governed.

Human-in-the-loop, always: AI agents suggest and generate; senior engineers review and approve. Every critical decision (architecture, security, deployment) requires human sign-off.
Your data stays yours: We never use client code or project data to train AI models. No exceptions. Intellectual property remains with the client.
Transparent decision trails: Full audit logs on every AI-assisted action. You can see what the AI generated and what a human approved. Nothing is a black box.
Model-agnostic: We don't lock clients into a single AI vendor. Open standards, portable architecture. Switch providers or bring capability in-house at any point.
Our commitment
We will maintain human oversight on all AI-generated output and continue to refuse any use of client data for model training, regardless of what becomes standard practice in the industry.

Fair partnerships
We build with you, not for you
Long-term & ethical client relationships

The most sustainable client relationship is one where they're genuinely better off after working with us, not more dependent on us. We design for independence.

No vendor lock-in: Everything we build uses open standards. Clients own the code, the infrastructure, and the documentation. If you want to take it in-house or switch partners, we'll help you do it cleanly.
Knowledge transfer is part of delivery: We don't hoard context. Documentation, runbooks, and handover sessions are included, not upsold as extras.
Honest scoping: We'll tell you if something is out of scope, over-engineered, or not worth building. Long-term relationships are worth more than a bigger invoice this quarter.
21 years of proof: Seven clients have been with us for more than eight years. That's what sustainable partnership looks like.

People
A team worth working on
How we treat the people who work here

We're a cross-cultural company by origin: Dutch founders, a Polish engineering team, clients across four continents. That diversity isn't a programme; it's just how we are.

Career development, not just employment: Learning budgets, access to AI tooling, and senior mentorship are standard. We promoted our CTO from within. We expect most leaders to come from inside the team.
Remote & hybrid flexibility: Engineering work doesn't require everyone in the same room. We give people the flexibility to do their best work where they do it best.
Fair pay across geographies: We don't use location as a reason to underpay. Competitive compensation is a baseline, not a perk.
Low turnover, by design: High turnover is expensive for clients and damaging for teams. We invest in retention. And measure ourselves on it.
// Environmental

Where we're honest about our footprint

Software companies have a lighter environmental footprint than most industries. But "lighter" doesn't mean zero. Here's our current position, without the greenwashing.

What we do
Remote-first, distributed team
No large office footprint. Our teams work from Netherlands and Poland with minimal commuting and low premises energy use.
What we do
Less rework = less compute
Our 5-gate quality process means fewer failed builds, fewer emergency fixes, and fewer wasted compute cycles. Clean delivery is inherently more efficient.
What we do
Cloud provider selection
We recommend and deploy on cloud providers with strong sustainability commitments, and help clients choose regions with lower carbon intensity where possible.
Where we're improving
Formalising our reporting
We don't yet publish a formal carbon report. This is something we're working toward. And we'll share it here when it's ready. No claims we can't back up.
